ASA International (Rwanda) Plc has joined Rwandans in commemorating Kwibuka32, the 32nd anniversary of the 1994 Genocide against the Tutsi, reaffirming its commitment to remembrance, unity, and reconciliation.

Led by Group Chief Executive Officer Rob Keijsers, Vice Chairman of the Board Gerald Mpyisi, and Chief Executive Officer Christian Salifou, the delegation visited the Kigali Genocide Memorial, where they toured the site, laid a wreath, and paid tribute at the Flame of Hope to the victims of the Genocide against the Tutsi.
During an educational session, Serge Rwigamba reminded participants that genocide ideology thrives on division, dehumanization, and silence, calling for sustained education and vigilance against discrimination.
Speaking at the memorial, Christian Salifou honored the victims and survivors, saying Rwanda’s journey of recovery continues to inspire the world through its message of unity and reconciliation.

Gerald Mpyisi said healing remains a continuous process and stressed the importance of protecting dignity, strengthening unity, and rejecting all forms of division.
Rob Keijsers commended Rwanda’s transformation over the past 32 years, saying the tragedy of 1994 remains a lesson to the world. He said the promise of “Never Again” must be upheld not only in words, but also in leadership, choices, and everyday actions.
